The underground infrastructure work is wrapping up and the block structure to house well control equipment has four walls up.
All of this is adding up to the recharge well improvement by the Sanitary District being on schedule, according to District General Manager Dana Trompke. Work is expected to wrap up by the end of October.
“MGC Contractors is working toward having most of the lawn area restored and open to the public by the first week of October,” Trompke said. “Work inside the well control building will extend through the end of November.”
