Scattershot policies are trickling down in Fountain Hills

OPINION — Remember “trickle-down” from the Reagan era? The Gipper posited that tax breaks for large business and the wealthy would then “trickle down” to the rest of the population by creating new jobs with higher wages and benefits. In reality, it showered Niagara Falls-like benefits on corporations and the wealthy with a brackish trickle left over for middle- and working-class workers.
Well Shazam! Shazam! Trickle-down has popped up again in Fountain Hills! Only in a different but no less scary form, sort of like the clown in Poltergeist. The consequences of crazy-uncle, scattershot policies are starting to trickle down and it ain’t pretty:
