School Board holds meeting, retreat Tuesday afternoon

The Fountain Hills Unified School District will hold its next board meeting at a special day and time Tuesday, July 9, at 4 p.m. in the Learning Center. The regular meeting will be immediately followed by the board retreat, scheduled to run until 7 p.m.

Items on the regular agenda include possible approval of the 2013-14 budget and several annual upkeep items including a handful of policy revisions and intergovernmental agreements. The board will also vote on the proposed language for the "pro” statement to be included in voter information concerning district overrides.

The study sessions will be utilized to reflect on the previous school year and plan for the year ahead with items including revisiting the district mission statement, goals for the coming year, etc.
