School board meets tonight

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board is holding an open meeting today, Wednesday, April 24, at the District Learning Center starting at 6:30 p.m.

After hearing the standard informational reports from Superintendent Dr. Robert Allen, the board will approve the consent agenda and move to the informational/discussion portion of the meeting.

Among other topics the board will discuss renewing the district’s contract with the food service company, Sodexo, as well as a proposal for a new high school elective, Peer Assistant for Life Skills Class and board meeting dates for the 2019-2020 school year.

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board is holding an open meeting today, Wednesday, April 24, at the District Learning Center starting at 6:30 p.m.

After hearing the standard informational reports from Superintendent Dr. Robert Allen, the board will approve the consent agenda and move to the informational/discussion portion of the meeting.

Among other topics the board will discuss renewing the district’s contract with the food service company, Sodexo, as well as a proposal for a new high school elective, Peer Assistant for Life Skills Class and board meeting dates for the 2019-2020 school year.

The board will finish its meeting with a vote on the revised 2018/2019 budget, a field trip for the life skills class to Special Needs Prom and the five priorities the board will send to the Arizona School Board Association for its 2020 political agenda.

This meeting is open to the public.
