School board meets Tuesday

The Fountain Hills Unified School District will host its November meeting on a special evening due to the upcoming Veterans Day holiday. The board will gather this Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the District Learning Center.

This week's meeting will kick off at 5 p.m. as the board goes into executive session to discuss with designated stakeholders matters regarding salaries and compensation of district staff.

It is expected that the regular public meeting will begin at the usual time of 6:30 p.m. Along with the usual reports, the board will discuss an upcoming STUGO extracurricular trip and the board self-evaluation, as well as take action on the teacher evaluation system status statement of assurance and two proposed changes to the Arizona School Board Association bylaws.
