School Board meets Tuesday night

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board will soon discuss the Superintendent’s performance over the past school year, a topic of discussion during the meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening, May 10.

The meeting, scheduled a day earlier than usual due to Senior Recognition Night on May 11, will begin with a study session at 5:30 p.m. This behind-closed-doors session is to review Superintendent Dr. Patrick Sweeny’s performance initiative goals for 2015-16.

The regular meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the District Learning Center, where the executive session discussion will serve as a basis for voting on the superintendent’s performance-based compensation as part of the action agenda. The Board will also vote on a proposed revised version of the 2015-16 budget.

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board will soon discuss the Superintendent’s performance over the past school year, a topic of discussion during the meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening, May 10.

The meeting, scheduled a day earlier than usual due to Senior Recognition Night on May 11, will begin with a study session at 5:30 p.m. This behind-closed-doors session is to review Superintendent Dr. Patrick Sweeny’s performance initiative goals for 2015-16.

The regular meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the District Learning Center, where the executive session discussion will serve as a basis for voting on the superintendent’s performance-based compensation as part of the action agenda. During the information/discussion portion of the agenda, the Board will discuss potential photography/art club trip to Paris in October, as well as board meetings for the coming school year.

Finally, during the early goings of the regular meeting, Jackie Miles and Nancy Hadaway will present a check to the high school art department to support the AP studio art program.
