School board meets Wednesday

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board will host a public meeting on the bond and capital outlay expenditures during the regular meeting being held this evening, Oct. 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the District Learning Center.

Following the rundown of the bond and capital outlay expenditures, board members will hear comments from Superintendent Dr. Patrick Sweeney, as well as a presentation from the Golden Eagle Education Foundation.

While the teacher evaluation system status for FY 2016-17 will be a topic of discussion during this evening’s meeting, the board will also take action on items including a teen court trip to Flagstaff, the proposed 2016-17 academic calendar, as well as textbook adoptions.
