While three individuals vie for two four-year seats on the Fountain Hills Unified School District governing board, Bernie Hoenle was the only individual to file petitions for the third open seat, this one for a term of two years. As such, the election for the third seat was cancelled and Hoenle will begin his tenure in 2025.
Even so, he agreed to take part in the Times Independent’s Q&A series so the community can get to know him better. His answers to all four questions are below, ran separately from earlier entries in the series to avoid confusion.
As a reminder, Kim Duckworth, Dr. Anne Evans and incumbent Dr. Richard Rutkowski will be on the ballot this November running for the two four-year seats.
