School board sets retreat

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board will have a short business meeting tonight, Aug. 28, at the District Learning Center followed by a retreat where the board will receive training from the Arizona School Board Association.

In its short meeting the board will discuss a field trip for Sister City visitors to the Grand Canyon and vote on the Coalition’s proposed vaping curriculum.

The board’s regular meeting is open to the public and begins at 4 p.m.
