School Board to ponder bond projects

It’s going to be a busy Wednesday night for the Fountain Hills Unified School District governing board, beginning with a study session covering possible field, landscape and playground upgrades and ending with possible renewal of directors’ contracts.

This March 26 meeting is set to begin at 5:30 with the study session and the regular meeting to follow immediately after. This meeting is open to the public and will be hosted out of the District Learning Center.

During the study session, the board will look into possible grounds upgrades for all sites, including the high school, McDowell Mountain and Four Peaks Elementary School. From new equipment and landscaping to a possible all-weather turf or irrigation upgrade at the high school, the board will consider where to best allocate funds approved in last year’s bond election.
