The first Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board meeting of 2016 is set for this evening, Jan. 13, with a light agenda scheduled to be kicked off at 6:30 p.m.
The big item of discussion will be the potential purchase of pupil transportation vehicles. As Superintendent Dr. Patrick Sweeney stated in a recent interview, FHUSD is looking to replace vehicles that have reached their useful limit, not expand its current fleet.
The board will also hear a proposal for an Earthquest trip to Imperial Beach, San Diego, to occur later in 2016, as well as a possible new high school course, Honors Algebra I.
