My son, Ethan, has attended the Fountain Hills public schools for 12 years (since kindergarten). He has had a wonderful experience with very caring and helpful teachers and administrators.

The proposed Maintenance and Operations override for our schools is key to maintaining the momentum and strength of our schools. This will essentially be a continuation of an Override that has been supported by our Fountain Hills voters since 1999.

Funds from this override will provide benefits such as: Maintain all-day kindergarten, teacher salary increases, provide professional development, hire additional staff for reading literacy support, financially reward staff for outstanding performance and enable the District to maintain its award-winning programs.

I strongly support this override and encourage all Fountain Hills residents to vote “Yes” when they start receiving their ballots in the mail this week. This Override will benefit students, teachers, administrators and parents of our outstanding Fountain Hills public schools.
