Better economy versus horrible inflation, caused by Kamala, because she voted to advance the American Rescue Plan? Fact is, this plan was responsible for bringing much-needed financial assistance to those devastated by COVID, enabling small businesses, individual families, corporations, to recover from a desperate time of lost jobs, closed businesses, etc., allowing us to avoid the much-predicted recession or great depression and have a surprisingly soft landing economically. 

Fact checkers say that while this relief plan did raise inflation rates it was only by a couple of percentage points. What was most responsible for high inflation was supply chain shortages due to COVID shutdowns along with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. And now our economy is considered the envy of the world.

Be that as it may, the reasons that we can’t vote for Trump are extremely serious and come right out of his mouth. He’s become totally unhinged, mentally unfit and dangerously vengeful. Watch any of his rallies. He attacks everyone with false accusations and, patterning Hitler, dehumanizes migrants as vermin or monsters, making them our modern-day scapegoats, responsible for all our problems.  

He praises and envies violent dictators like Kim, Putin or Orban. He’s promised to dismantle our Constitution; invoke the Alien Sedition Act to put those who disagree with in danger and declare martial law, setting our military against our own citizens to maintain order. Project 2025 confirms his authoritarian plans.  

Those who protested lack of freedom during COVID (mandatory masks or vaccines) better buckle up! You ain’t seen nothing yet!  Prepare to lose all your constitutional rights and freedoms, especially if you’re a woman, a person of color, LGBTQ+, an immigrant, a Muslim, a Jew, or…?
