For most people, turning 100 would be a landmark moment in one’s life. Not many people live to see that number.
But for Robie Lorimer, Fountain Hills resident and member of the Fountain Hills branch of Scottsdale Bible Church, she didn’t think much of it when she turned 100 on April 19.
“I’m sort of flabbergasted because when I was 99 and people were saying, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re going to be 100.’ I thought, what’s the big deal?” Lorimer said. “Even now that I’m 100, it doesn’t seem like a big deal to me because I still feel the same as I did 10 years ago.”
