Like other school staff, the weeks leading up to and after the start of school keep Steffnie Beck busy.
Fortunately, she’s been able to not only get the Second Chance Store up and running at Fountain Hills Middle School, but also stocked up on the kinds of items students need the most this time of year.
“Running Second Chance is a true labor of love,” said Beck, a receptionist and administrative assistant at the middle school. “It takes about an hour each morning before work to stock, organize and prepare everything for the kids.”
