Heard about the Redskins name controversy? Yep! How about Lois Lerner? Who? Well, there’s allegations the Obama administration coordinated with the IRS to silence conservative political groups during the 2012 campaign.

Obama said “there is not even a smidgeon of corruption” at the IRS. But when IRS Director Lois Lerner was asked the same question she said, “I invoke my right under the Fifth Amendment not to answer.”

Just another Obama-bash letter? Hold on... Fact is the IRS scandal, right or wrong, had enough traction to get a Congressional investigative committee appointed. Since Lerner took the 5th, her emails were subpoenaed to learn the facts. After two years, the IRS announced Friday that all of Lerner’s outgoing emails are gone! Disk crash, no backups, no server, no hard drive.

Not believable, she’s the IRS director, right? Let’s put this in perspective. If the allegations are true and if there were damning emails from Lois Lerner and if they were intentionally destroyed, how big a deal would this be? Huge!

Using the IRS to target political groups is a criminal offense punishable with jail. As would be destroying evidence in a criminal investigation. If the President was complicit, it’s an impeachable offense.

Finally to my point. You all know about the Redskins flap. Important stuff, huh? Been all over the news. But, not one of the liberal networks made even a mention of Lerner’s missing emails. Wouldn’t you want your news media to at least let you know about such a story? So that you could then weigh the facts and make decisions for yourself? How could you if you never knew it happened?

A politically aligned media reports only the news they want you to hear. Public thought control via selective reporting. Do not let them “dumb you down.”
