The Fountain Hills Town Council, by imposing and promoting one religion over the other 321 religions practiced in the U.S.A., is wrong.

Religion, any religion, should be kept out of the public square. Americans are perfectly free to practice their religion at home or in churches, cathedrals, temples, mosques or sitting on a hill admiring a sunset.

Our country’s founders, who were of different religious backgrounds themselves, knew the best way to protect religious liberty was to keep the government out of religion. So, they created the First Amendment to guarantee the separation of church and state.
