Anyone who drives around Fountain Hills has probably noticed there are several ongoing construction projects related to public access.
At the Dec. 17 Town Council meeting Town of Fountain Hills Public Works Director Justin Weldy gave the council a quarterly update on the projects currently taking place throughout town.
The multi-million-dollar grant funded sidewalk infill work has passed the 50% completion mark, according to Weldy, and is expected to be completed in the spring. The section of the sidewalk along Saguaro Boulevard between Fountain Hills Boulevard and La Montana Drive is essentially complete but with still some minor follow-up, Weldy said.
