Shade ramada walkway at Fountain Hills park

Contractors were busy Friday morning, Oct. 4, pouring concrete for the sidewalk around the new shade ramada in Fountain Park. The shade canopy is attached to a permanent structure built by the Fountain Hills Sanitary District to house electrical and control components for one of the recharge/recovery wells in the park. When complete, the ramada will become the location for featuring the “Fount Rushmore” presidential statutes as part of the Fountain Hills public art collection.
