A “Shakespeare by the Fountain Festival” seems an attractive way to bring a good crowd of people to Fountain Hills with good benefits for everyone. Evening performances of any number of Shakespeare’s works would be dramatic and beautiful in Fountain Park.
There are a number of theatrical groups in the Valley capable of good Shakespearean performances such as the Arizona Acting Academy and Southwest Shakespeare.
Perhaps April or May would be good times when the winter revenues diminish and the evenings are pleasant for outdoor performances. It would seem reasonable to charge modest amounts to attend the presentations so that costs are met while revenues are increased at local restaurants, cafes, galleries, etc.

Another benefit is to bring respect and favorable attention to this most charming town.
