Shepherd of the Hills in Fountain Hills hears from missionaries from the Philippines

Lutheran Church blesses the work of Dr. Paul and Queenie Rollet

Missionaries with Companion with the Poor (CWTP) Dr. Paul and Queenie Rollet visited Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church (SOTH) Sunday, July 14, to update church members on their work in Manila, the capital city of the Philippines.

CWTP’s vision is to plant sustainable churches among the urban poor settlements in every slum in Manila, according to the press release.

The organization has created 79 churches in 24 years. Of the 80 pastors who lead those churches, 60 of them grew up in the area.
