Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, May 23, through Wednesday, May 29.

Thursday, May 23

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Fountain Hills Boulevard and Trevino Drive. A driver was stopped for criminal speed traveling 68 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, May 23, through Wednesday, May 29.

Thursday, May 23

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Fountain Hills Boulevard and Trevino Drive. A driver was stopped for criminal speed traveling 68 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies received a report in the 16000 block of Pepperwood Circle that an unknown subject hit a golf ball that struck a vehicle and caused damage. The victim was unwilling to aid in prosecution.

Friday, May 24

*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and Amhurst Drive where a traffic collision occurred after a motorist failed to yield at an intersection. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills and Palisades boulevards for a reported private property traffic collision when a driver backed into a parked vehicle in a parking lot. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

Saturday, May 25

*Deputies responded to the 9000 block of Summer Hill Blvd. where it was reported that a known subject took multiple credit cards from the victim’s belongings and used them to make several unauthorized purchases.

Sunday, May 26

*A resident of the 14000 block of Aguilar Drive reported that a known suspect took approximately $80 in cash from the victim’s wallet without permission.

Tuesday, May 28

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro Boulevard at Pepperwood Circle. A driver was stopped for speeding and upon contacting the driver the deputy observed signs of impairment. A DUI investigation was initiated, and the driver was subsequently arrested for DUI.

*A resident of the 17000 block of Calico Drive reported that they had loaned items to an acquaintance for temporary use. The subject subsequently refused to return the items.

*A resident of the 14000 block of Yerba Buena Way reported a violation of a court order.

Wednesday, May 29

*A resident of the 15000 block of Rica Vida Way reported that an unknown subject opened a credit account in the victim’s name without permission.
