Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, May 30, through Wednesday, June 5.
Thursday, May 30
*A resident of the 16000 block of Jacklin Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s credit card information to make unauthorized purchases resulting in approximately $4,000 in loss.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, May 30, through Wednesday, June 5.
Thursday, May 30
*A resident of the 16000 block of Jacklin Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s credit card information to make unauthorized purchases resulting in approximately $4,000 in loss.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive reported that an unknown subject attempted to open the door a vehicle without the owner’s permission while it was parked in the carport of a residence.
*Deputies received a report from the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. that an unknown subject took the victim’s bicycle while it was in front of a business. The victim did not want to aid in prosecution.
Saturday, June 1
*Deputies responded to La Montana and Hamilton drives in response to a call for a welfare check. Upon contacting the subject deputies determined a domestic violence assault incident had occurred. During the investigation a DUI investigation was also initiated. The subject was arrested and booked into jail for DUI and assault.
*Deputies responded to La Montana Drive and Avenue of the Fountains where a traffic collision occurred after a driver failed to yield while entering the traffic circle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to a call for service in the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. While on scene a records check revealed a subject with a valid warrant. The subject was booked into jail on the warrant.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Calle Del Oro reported that an unknown subject took property from a residence.
Sunday, June 2
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Calle Del Oro to assist Peoria Police in contacting the victim of a crime that occurred in Peoria who lives in Fountain Hills.
*Deputies responded to Golden Eagle Boulevard and Desert Canyon Drive. A single vehicle traffic collision occurred after a driver swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway lost control and drove into a wash area.
Monday, June 3
*A resident of the 14000 block of Westminster Place reported that an unknown subject took a flag and damaged a flagpole located in the front yard of a residence.
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from a business.
Tuesday, June 4
*A resident of the 12000 block of Mountainside Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information to open an account without permission.
*A resident of the 17000 block of La Montana Drive reported that they transferred approximately $31,000 to the account of an unknown subject as part of a fraudulent scheme.
*Deputies responded to the area of Ashbrook Drive and Fountain Hills Boulevard where a brush fire was reported in the Ashbrook wash.
Wednesday, June 5
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro and El Lago boulevards. A vehicle was stopped for displaying an expired registration. A check of records revealed that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*Deputies responded to Gunsight and La Montana drives where a traffic collision occurred when a motorist failed to yield. One subject was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. No vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. A traffic collision occurred when a driver struck a parked vehicle in a business parking lot. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
