Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, July 25, through Wednesday, July 31.

Thursday, July 25

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Fountain Hills Boulevard and Arrow Drive. A driver was stopped for criminal speed traveling 65 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*A resident of the 14000 block of Highland Ave. reported that an unknown subject took construction equipment from a work site valued at approximately $750.

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from a business.

*Deputies responded to Baca Drive and El Pueblo Boulevard where a traffic collision was reported after a driver attempted to make a U-turn and sideswiped another vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

Saturday, July 27

*Deputies received a call from the 13000 block of Sunridge Drive reporting that an unknown subject took multiple political signs from a residential property.

*Deputies responded to the 12000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from a business.

Sunday, July 28

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that two unknown subjects shoplifted merchandise valued at approximately $1,000 from a business.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive reported a violation of a court order.

Monday, July 29

*A resident of the 15000 block of Primrose Drive reported that an unknown subject removed trees from the complainant’s yard without permission.

*Deputies made a traffic stop at Saguaro and El Lago boulevards. A motorist was stopped for expired plates and suspended registration. A check of records revealed that the driver’s license was also suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speed on McDowell Mountain Road (MP2) where a motorist was traveling 78 miles per hour where the speed limit is 45. The driver was issued a criminal citation. *Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject shoplifted items from a business.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that a driver collided with a parked vehicle in the parking lot of a business. No injuries were reported. No vehicles were towed.

*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Demaret Drive where a subject was trespassed from a residence.

*Deputies responded to Shea and Fountain Hills boulevards where it was reported that an unknown subject spray-painted town property causing approximately $800 in damage.

Tuesday, July 30

*A resident of the 14000 block of Olympic Way reported a violation of a court order.

Wednesday, July 31

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Fountain Hills Boulevard. A driver was stopped for criminal speed traveling 77 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies made a traffic stop for speeding on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane. A driver was traveling 87 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*A resident of the 14000 block of Olympic Way reported a violation of a court order. The suspect was located, arrested and booked into jail.

*A driver was stopped at Palisades Boulevard and La Montana Drive for a suspended registration. A check of records revealed that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
