Fountain Hills: Sheriff’s call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills reported that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Aug. 22, through Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Friday, Aug. 23

*Deputies responded to La Montana Drive and Avenue of the Fountains where a traffic collision occurred after a vehicle failed to yield from a private drive. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed from the scene.

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of McDowell Mountain Road where it was reported that a subject entered an educational facility, threatened staff and caused a disturbance. Charges were submitted to Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

* Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Bainbridge Avenue where a domestic violence assault was reported. The suspect was booked into jail.

Saturday, Aug. 24

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Golden Eagle Blvd. where a domestic violence assault incident was reported.

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Shea Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from a business.

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that two subjects shoplifted items from a business. Charges were submitted to the Fountain Hills Municipal Court.

Monday, Aug. 26

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains where a violation of a court order was reported.

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject damaged the property of a business.

Tuesday, Aug. 27

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro Boulevard at Ledferd Lane where a motorist was traveling 65 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Indian Wells Drive where it was reported that an unknown subject damaged a utility pole belonging to a business.

*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills Boulevard and Muskrat Lane. A traffic collision occurred after a driver made an illegal U-turn. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject took items without permission from the victim’s unlocked vehicle while it was parked in a business parking lot.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown driver struck a vehicle in the parking lot of a business then fled the area without exchanging information with the owner of the struck vehicle.

Wednesday, Aug. 28

*A resident of the 10000 block of Palisades Blvd. reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information without permission to list a property for sale fraudulently.
