Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Aug. 29, to Wednesday, Sept. Sept. 4.

Thursday, Aug. 29

*A resident of the 16000 block of Carmel Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information without permission to obtain a credit account.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Keith McMahan Drive for a report that an unknown subject took the victim’s personal property without permission while at a business.

Friday, Aug. 30

*A resident of the 15000 block of Hillside Drive reported that an unknown subject defrauded the victim out of approximately $80,000 through a fraud scheme.

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane for criminal speed. The driver was stopped for allegedly traveling 75 mile per hour where the speed limit is 50. A check of records revealed that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

Sunday, Sept. 1

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle in a business parking lot. The unknown driver left the area without exchanging information with the owner of the parked vehicle.

Monday, Sept. 2

*Deputies responded to the 9600 block of Saguaro Blvd. where a subject was formally trespassed from a business after entering the business intoxicated and creating a disturbance.

Tuesday, Sept. 3

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard and Arista Lane where a driver was stopped for criminal speed, allegedly traveling 79 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

Wednesday, Sept. 4

*A resident of the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. reported that an unknown subject took approximately $5,000 worth of property from the victim’s vehicle while it was parked at a residence.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Bainbridge Ave. reported that a subject unlawfully took items from a U.S. Postal Service mailbox.

*A resident of the 17000 block of Calle Del Sol reported that an unknown subject posing as a T-Mobile employee attempted to defraud the complainant out of money.

*A resident of the 14000 block of Alamosa Circle reported that an unknown subject sent the complainant a harassing e-mail.
