Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Dec. 5, through Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Thursday, Dec. 5
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. where an armed robbery was reported at a business. A short time later the suspect was located by deputies in the area. The suspect was taken into custody by deputies and booked into jail.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Dec. 5, through Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Thursday, Dec. 5
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. where an armed robbery was reported at a business. A short time later the suspect was located by deputies in the area. The suspect was taken into custody by deputies and booked into jail.
Friday, Dec. 6
*A domestic violence incident was reported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Saturday, Dec. 7
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where a private property hit and run collision was reported. Deputies said a vehicle struck a second vehicle while attempting to park in a parking lot. The driver then left the area without exchanging information or reporting the collision.
*Deputies responded to La Montana Drive and Avenue of the Fountains where a traffic collision was reported. MCSO reported that a vehicle struck two pedestrians crossing the roadway in a crosswalk after exiting a traffic circle. The pedestrians were transported for medical treatment with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was issued a citation.
*Deputies responded to Shea Boulevard and Monterey Drive for a reported traffic collision. Deputies say the collision occurred when a driver made an unsafe lane change and side swiped a second vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Shoot Out Plaza reported a domestic violence assault incident.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Brunswick Drive where drug paraphernalia belonging to an unknown person was turned over to deputies for destruction.
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. A private property collision was reported after a vehicle backed into a parked vehicle in a parking lot. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to Amhurst Drive and Saguaro Boulevard where it was reported that an unknown subject threw an item at a moving vehicle striking it and causing approximately $300 in damage.
Monday, Dec. 9
*A resident of the 16000 block of El Lago Blvd. reported that an unknown subject opened fraudulent credit accounts using the victim’s information without their permission.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject was exposing their genitals to traffic. Deputies were unable to locate the subject.
*Deputies responded to Eagle Mountain Parkway and Shea Boulevard where a rear end traffic collision occurred. Deputies said a driver removed their attention from the road and struck another vehicle stopped at a traffic signal. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Mesquite Lane where a traffic collision was reported. MCSO reports a golf cart struck an embankment and rolled on to its side. No injuries were reported.
*A resident of the 11000 block of Teller Drive reported that an unknown subject stole a package off the porch of a residence.
Tuesday, Dec. 10
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Keith McMahan Drive where it was reported that a patient at a care facility attempted to assault a nurse by throwing a beverage can at her. The victim did not wish to aid in prosecution.
Wednesday, Dec. 11
*A resident of the 15000 block of Thistle Drive reported that a subject threatened to physically harm an ex-spouse after being released from custody.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Yerba Buena Way where a domestic violence assault incident was reported. Deputies reported that the victim was not cooperative and refused to identify the suspect.
