Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Dec. 12, through Wednesday, Dec. 18.
Thursday, Dec. 12
*Deputies responded to Saguaro and Palisades boulevards for a reported traffic collision. Deputies say the crash occurred when a driver made an unsafe lane change and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Dec. 12, through Wednesday, Dec. 18.
Thursday, Dec. 12
*Deputies responded to Saguaro and Palisades boulevards for a reported traffic collision. Deputies say the crash occurred when a driver made an unsafe lane change and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*A resident of the 11000 block of Viento Court reported that two unknown subjects trespassed at a residential property.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Boxwood Lane reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information without permission to apply for a student loan.
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Verde River Drive where a possible child abuse incident was reported. This case turned over to Special Victims Unit detectives for investigation.
*Deputies responded to the 12000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where it was reported that multiple unknown subjects damaged a sign belonging to a business.
Saturday, Dec. 14
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. for a reported private property collision. Deputies say a motorist backed into a parked vehicle while leaving a business without stopping to exchange information. The driver was later located while operating a vehicle. Upon contacting the driver, deputies initiated a DUI investigation. The driver was issued criminal citations for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
Sunday, Dec. 15
*A resident of the 14000 block of Yerba Buena Way reported a violation of a court order.
*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Palomino Blvd. where it was reported that a subject found stolen property that had been abandoned in a vacant lot. The property was turned over to deputies.
Monday, Dec. 16
*Deputies responded to the area of Saguaro and Kingstree boulevards where it was reported that an unknown subject threw an object at a passing car causing damage to the windshield.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Ashbrook Drive where a domestic violence assault incident was reported.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Thistle Drive reported that an unknown subject damaged the mailbox at a residence.
*Deputies responded to La Montana Drive and El Lago Boulevard for a reported traffic collision. MCSO is reporting that a driver failed to yield from a stop sign and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, one vehicle was towed. The driver that failed to yield was issued a civil citation.
*The owner of a business in the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains reported that an unknown subject entered the business while the owner was away from the front area and took items belonging to the owner.
Tuesday, Dec. 17
*Deputies responded to Kim and Kipling drives for a reported traffic collision. Deputies reported the crash occurred after an unknown driver side swiped a street sweeper and left the area without stopping. No injuries were reported. No vehicles were towed.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Edgeworth Drive reported that an unknown subject stole a package from the front door of a residence.
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro Boulevard at Ledferd Lane reportedly for a suspended vehicle registration. Deputies said a routine check of records revealed that that driver’s license was also suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*Deputies responded to Palisades and Fountain Hills boulevards for a reported collision on private property. Deputies reported a vehicle backed into a parked vehicle in a business parking lot. The driver then fled the area without stopping or exchanging information. A witness took a photo of the vehicle and license plate when it left. Deputies contacted the driver who was issued a criminal citation. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. MCSO reported that a traffic collision occurred after a driver struck a vehicle that was legally parked on the side of a roadway. The driver left a note prior to leaving the area. No injuries were reported. No vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to Palisades and Shea boulevards for a reported traffic collision. Deputies said the collision occurred when a driver’s view was obstructed by the sun resulting in the driver rear ending a vehicle stopped at a traffic light. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that a subject was causing a disturbance. The subject was trespassed from the business.
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Calle Del Oro where a domestic violence assault incident was reported.
