The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents that include five vehicle collisions during the time of Dec. 25 to Dec. 30.
Friday, Dec. 26
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of N. Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported an unknown subject stole the money from the tip jar at a restaurant.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents that include five vehicle collisions during the time of Dec. 25 to Dec. 30.
Friday, Dec. 26
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of N. Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported an unknown subject stole the money from the tip jar at a restaurant.
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of E. Shea Blvd. where it was reported a subject caused a disturbance at a restaurant. When contacted by deputies, the subject reportedly ingested an illegal substance in front of deputies. The subject was arrested and booked into jail.
*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of N. McDowell View Trl. where it was reported an unknown subject had stolen a firearm from a residence. The victim suspected movers that were recently hired.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of N. Love Ct. It was reported a house guest stole an item from a residence.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of E. El Lago Blvd. where a domestic violence assault incident was reported. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of E. Sycamore Drive where it was reported a subject left threatening voicemails for the complainant.
Saturday, Dec. 27
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of N. Indigo Drive where it was reported a subject suffering from a mental health emergency entered a neighbor’s residence and removed items. The victim did not wish to aid in prosecution. The subject was transported for a mental health evaluation.
*Deputies responded to the 12000 block of N. La Montana Drive where it was reported the complainant was threatened by a neighbor.
Monday, Dec. 29
*Deputies responded to Shea and Saguaro boulevards where it was reported a traffic collision occurred after a driver failed to control speed to avoid a collision and rear-ended a vehicle stopped in traffic. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of E. Westwind Ct. where it was reported a subject attempted to pay the victim for an item listed for sale with a fraudulent check. The victim did not wish to aid in prosecution.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of E. Shea Blvd. where it was reported a subject shoplifted items from a business.
*Deputies responded to Shea and Palisades boulevards where they contacted a subject who was walking in the traffic lanes of the roadway. A records check revealed the subject had an outstanding warrant. The subject was arrested and booked into jail on the warrant.
