Sheriff’s Office sees rise in calls, traffic violations

Weekly update from Fountain Hills district

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents during the time of Jan. 22 to Jan. 28.

Thursday, Jan. 22

*Deputies responded to McDowell Mountain Road MP3 where it was reported that a driver was stopped for criminal speed (80 in a 45). The driver was issued a criminal citation.
