Fountain Hills Sheriff’s Office sees surge in thefts

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents that include five vehicle collisions during the time of Jan. 8 to Jan. 14.

Thursday, Jan. 8

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of E. Chicory Dr. where it was reported an unknown subject created a fraudulent service account in the victim’s name without permission resulting in fines for the victim.
