Sheriff’s Office sees theft, vehicle crashes in Fountain Hills report

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills is reporting deputies responded to the following incidents during the time of April 30 to May 6.

Thursday, April 30

*Deputies responded to the 19000 E. Los Picos Rd. where it was reported three unknown subjects posed as US Marshals as part of a fraudulent scheme and defrauded the victim of $5,000 over the phone.
