I have been a resident of Fountain Hills for over 25 years and met Mike Scharnow soon after I arrived. In fact, we are both celebrating 25 years of being members of Noon Kiwanis this year.
I doubt there are many residents who know Fountain Hills better than Mike after all his years as editor of The Fountain Hills Times. Mike has always been a dedicated volunteer, helping at whatever event needed his help. If volunteers are needed, Mike steps up to the plate.
