Finance Director David Pock and Development Services Director John Wesley presented the Town Council with an update on short-term rental (STR) activity in Fountain Hills at the Dec. 5 council meeting.
Pock discussed revenue information while Wesley talked about efforts to enforce the rules for the rentals.
Short-term residential rental options have been available in Fountain Hills for some time. Properties near local golf courses have hosted weekend golf outings that raised concerns with neighbors and the town did make efforts to bring noise and parking issues under control.
