Fountain Hills hosted a most successful State of Arizona Sister Cities Conference last Saturday and we want to thank Mayor Kavanagh and Town Manager Grady Miller and staff for their planning support and participation.
Also attending at different time periods were Vice Mayor Henry Leger, Councilmembers Cecil Yates and Councilmember Alan Magazine.
One of the main issues discussed was the importance of getting youth involved through music, dance and service exchanges as the one when 43 Fountain Hills High School students went to El Salvador and built 20 homes in the jungles of Ataco in 2011.

We encourage residents to join us as members and, together with the great support we are receiving from our town government, we will continue to make a difference in following President Eisenhower’s vision in developing friendship and peace in the world .
