She also remains on staff at the Chamber of Com-merce as its special events producer.

Morgan has dedicated many, many volunteer hours over the years to the Sister Cities group, and she is to be commended for her commitment and service. Fountain Hills now boasts four official Sister Cities, and Morgan has traveled at her own expense to all four cities. She has organized adult junkets to those locations. She has overseen student exchange programs and local visits by dignitaries from our special cities. She has encouraged young people and high school students to become active in the program.

The basic idea behind Sister Cities is simply to en-hance relationships between cities in different countries and help people meet one another – form connections and foster relationships across international boundaries. Many Fountain Hills people have enjoyed the benefits of Sister Cities over the years. But of course more are al-ways welcome!

Thanks again, Sharon, for your hard work over the years with Sister Cities, and best of luck to the group’s new president, Jackie Miles.
