Surely, surely, surely ... the apocalyptic rain of words seems to continue to spew forth and surely the sky is falling. Surely the re-election of Barack Obama is speeding the coming of the apocalypse, and surely the sign of its coming is the Affordable Care Act, foisted on a people and a nation where everyone is healthy and well and able to expend endless amount of cash on medical care.
Surely, surely, surely ... the apocalyptic words drone on, fired by the fear-tipped threat of socialism wrapped up and embodied in the president of this fair and threatened land.
And surely the words, the torrent of words flows from lips of those who on the sly spend their Social Security checks, evilly and digitally deposited into bank accounts, even bank accounts in Fountain Hills.

Surely the mouthers of words have their medical care provided by Medicare. One hand froths with the great apocalyptic lament about socialism and the other hand holds furiously to the benefits of socialism already accrued to bank accounts and wallets.
Surely so few have experienced the great benefits possible to this fair land in a comprehensive medical program that would provide care to every citizen of the land, and even to the sojourner in the land.
The world is filled with models that demonstrate lower infant mortality rates, greater wellness, longer life expectancy, no bankruptcy from medical bills...and all of this at a fraction of the cost that we experience in this fair land.
Surely, we are assured, in letters to the editor, even here in Fountain Hills, the sky is still falling.
