The new production at the Fountain Hills Theater is “Young Frankenstein” and is one of the best plays of the season. It is so funny with all the Mel Brooks’ additions and innuendos.
As always, Patrick Russo does an excellent job, but the real scene stealer is Igor played by Roger Prenger who usually is a character actor and also an excellent singer and dancer. He combines word comedy and physical comedy throughout. His scenes with Patrick are priceless.
Then there is Noel Irick, who plays nasty Frau Blucher to such perfection that you are laughing constantly. Be sure to see this hilarious musical. It is one of the best.
