My husband and I could not have picked a more incredible community to call home! Like everyone in Fountain Hills, we enjoy the views, the quality of life and the people.
A huge, unexpected bonus is that we live in a tremendous neighborhood where everyone knows each other and truly gets along. We take turns having holiday parties, cookouts, dinners and other gatherings together. Our neighborhood has been featured in the newspaper a few times and now everyone in the development wants to live on our court. We’ve got a really good thing going.

My husband and I are remodeling our home exactly the way we want, because we have no reason to ever leave. We love everyone in our court and are so glad they’re our neighbors and friends. Over the years we have gotten to know several of our neighbors very well. One such family is Cecil and Nancy Yates.
As we all know, Cecil is running for mayor and, based on him being our neighbor, he’ll be incredible! He is very organized, friendly and focused. He knows his stuff about finance, business and the economy. However, what many folks don’t know is about his softer side working with non-profits and volunteer work. He spent five years working with CPLC managing their buildings that housed domestic violence victims, behavioral health counseling and day care centers. He donates his time to build playgrounds for families, countless hours building for Habitat for Humanity, and helped his wife and friends start a group called “People helping People” that collect clothes, shoes, food and blankets for the homeless.
He continues to sit on the Domestic Violence Committee to help protect women at risk and work to make laws better to protect these ladies.
