Solidarity in action

About 100 people walked in the Park Friday, Sept. 20, in solidarity with students who marched for action to address climate change.

The Fountain Hills event was attended by mainly adults, but there were young people who were out of school to participate. Another march at the Maricopa County Courthouse to the state capitol was held later Friday.

Students all over the world conducted a strike to draw attention to the urgency of climate change. All the events were non-partisan.
