Preparing for busy hiking season

Hikers hit the trails in Fountain Hills; join in for the Fountain Hills Hiking Challenge in November.

The Sonoran Conservancy of Fountain Hills (SCFH), a volunteer organization with the mission to oversee activities within the Fountain Hills McDowell Sonoran Conservancy is getting ready to kick off the hiking season with participation in the Town of Fountain Hills Hiking Challenge.

The annual challenge is sponsored by the town’s Community Services department.

To learn more, stop by the Kiwanis Ramada in Fountain Park (next to the Splash Pad) from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1 for coffee and cookies.
