On the property of the garden is a stone dam that was built by P-Bar Ranch hands in 1941.
The dam has had some minor repairs but mostly remains as it was originally built. After a good rain the dam still creates a pond that attracts wild-life and avian life.
The entry to the Botanical Garden is just north of Kingstree Boulevard on the west side of Fountain Hills Boulevard. It is open during daylight hours and offers free access to the public.
