Shepherd of the Hills is sponsoring a five-week reflective Bible study on 1 John on Wednesday evenings starting tonight and continuing into mid-June.

The book of 1 John is relevant for today’s world because it is about love and the one true God, Jesus, the resurrected Messiah.

Discussion leaders will be Pastor Jeff Teeples; his wife, Kris, and Sherry Hottenstein.

A potluck salad dinner will precede each class from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Guests are asked to bring one topping to share. Lettuce/spinach, dressings and drinks will be provided.

Discussion will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The select dates are tonight, May 15, May 22, June 5, June 12 and June 18.

If unable to attend every, participants are encouraged to join when they can. Newcomers to town are especially welcome.

The church is located at 16250 El Lago Blvd. If questions, call 480-837-9532.
