Our April 27 Question of the Week asked readers the following: Do you vote by mail? Do you trust that the process is safe and not susceptible to fraud? Should the state make any changes or additional safeguards to ensure the integrity of our elections? Here’s what readers across the Valley said:
I am a huge fan and supporter of the current mail-in ballot system in Arizona. It is convenient and I completely trust the system. I feel we should continue it. — Tim K.
I’m a Phoenix native, born in 1940. I have lived in Tempe since New Year’s Eve 1966. I voted by mail the minute it was available, and in every local, state and national system since. I consider mail-in balloting in Arizona extremely safe — which had to be proven time and time again. Because I often worked full- and part-time jobs, the mail-in ballot was more than convenient. For decades, I have not wanted to wait in line, and I didn’t have to. — Kay B.
