The status of the special interest group, LGBTQ, has already been elevated above the voice of the majority, thus discriminating against the majority. This redundant, proposed ordinance or pledge would only serve to exacerbate this rift and be violation of our Constitution.

The ordinance could also be grounds to prohibit free expression of Biblical truth, a fundamental right of our Bill of Rights. We wish to make it clear that God’s Greatest Commandment is to love Him and our neighbors – including LGBTQ and other minorities.

In fact, the Bible speaks to provide special care to the needs of the disenfranchised. Any judgment of sin should only be done in this love with the guidance of God.
