Fountain Hills has some very special people who helped to spread the holiday spirit!
A very special thanks to some folks who helped to feed about 200 women and families at Watkins Basic Needs Shelter in Phoenix on Christmas Eve. Almost 30 people from The Fountains UMC and Jewish congregation Beth Hagivot provided the servers.
The Mexican dinner was provided by local Fountain Hills restaurants -- Phil Rodakis from Phil’s Filling Station Grill, Juan Gonzalez of Senor Taco and Becky Campbell of Splendid Foods.

Becky also provided logistical support -- providing supplies and coordinating the food so we could get it to Watkins still warm and ready to serve. The menu was enchiladas, beans, rice, green salad, pasta salad, chips and salsa, fresh fruit, pudding and homemade Christmas cookies.
