My wife, Cathay, and I have been Fountain Hills residents since April, 1999. We have previously attended events at Fountain Park, but none so spectacular as the Chinese Folk Lantern Festival we attended last Saturday evening. It was breathtaking.
We do not know who arranged its presence here in Fountain Hills or who funded the event. However, it clearly was the very essence of the type of activity we need in order to attract visitors to our community. It was also a most appropriate use of Fountain Park.
A big thanks to those who had the foresight to make this happen.
