As a full-time resident here for about one year, I have gradually noticed that not one kind soul in this lovely town does the speed limit on Saguaro Blvd.
Last time I checked the speed limit was posted at 35 MPH. When I comply with the speed limit, I quickly notice a tailgater or car trying to teach me a lesson on how to get out of the way. What’s the hurry? Maybe save a poor stray dog on the road or notice some of the stunning scenery as you drive.
I slowed to a snail’s pace during a severe storm and almost got rear-ended by a person who still insisted on driving over the limit. I often see the Sheriff on the side of the road, and then quickly notice red brake lights flashing about. In my opinion, people speeding and tailgating should take a look at their behavior and check themselves.
