Repairs to the splash pad in Fountain Park have been completed and the facility will be open for what is expected to be an especially warm weekend.
Town Acting Community Services Director Rachael Goodwin said the repair took longer than originally anticipated due to delays is getting parts and then it was discover there was more damage that originally thought. However she reported late Friday the fix has been made and the pad is ready to go.
"Our outstanding Parks staff stayed late to make sure one of our most loved features was ready for our first triple digit weekend," Goodwin said.
