SRP will look to lower residential power rates over summer

Salt River Project aims to lower power bills for customers about 3% over summer by adjusting a portion of residents’ bills that covers fuel costs.

The utility and water provider on Tuesday announced the proposed move, which it estimated would save about $5.57 per month on residential bills from the May through October billing cycles. The utility’s board will vote on the proposal during its March 26 meeting.
